The hotel & restaurant is not easy to find and you can get lost on your way out here. There are no directions and hardly any signs. We had openstreetmap to guide us there on a scooter which helped a lot.
There is a cover charge if you do not eat or drink at the place, which is acceptable given the gorgeous view onto the waterfalls on the opposite rim. If you don’t travel on a light budget, the little huts on the hillside will be your choice of accommodation in Pyin Oo Lwin.
Please expect a pricey menu with a limited choice of meals and drinks. The staff is very friendly and the food is really good, but the owner knows he can charge a premium for the view. It’s capitalism, baby!
